About Lori
Lori grew up in Brevard County and
has assisted its citizens for 16 years as a public servant
on state issues in both the Florida House and Senate. With
knowledge of and a passion for our democratic process, she
has kicked off her campaign for Brevard County Supervisor of
Elections.
"The Supervisor of Elections
is responsible for protecting the very foundation of our
democracy – our right to have our voice heard in our
government," said Lori.
Lori
notes that her career in the legislature has taught her many
valuable lessons, one of the most valuable being truly
listening to your constituency. If elected, it is Lori’s
intention to have customer service as the focal point of the
Supervisor’s office.
"I have spent the greater part
of my professional career assisting the citizens of
Brevard navigate through our state and local
bureaucracy," said Lori. I am excited to have the
opportunity to expand service-focused programs in the
Supervisor of Elections office."
Lori
is a seasoned legislative veteran who is familiar with state
laws governing the Supervisor’s office. She has served as
Chief of Staff to State Senator Mike Haridopolos for almost
nine years. Prior to that, she served on staff to State
Senator Bill Posey who is currently a candidate for U. S.
Congress and a nationally recognized expert in election law
and practice. Lori started her career locally in the private
sector where she worked for Rockwell Collins and Harris
Corporation.
Lori is a lifelong Brevard County
resident. She is the proud parent of two sons, Shane &
Jacob. Her mother Hazel, brother, Randy and both sisters,
Sandy & Peggy, all reside in Brevard County.
Please
join Lori’s team. Lori will put her years of experience,
values, and passion to preserve the basis of our democracy
to work for us in the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections
